Registered Manager Childrens Home ManagerChildren''s Home in North West LondonWe are looking for a qualified Registered Children''s Home Manager to lead our new Childrens Care Home. This position can lead to exciting opportunities overseeing other homes and becoming Senior RM.This role involves providing outstanding care for looked after children within a residential home. You will be required to have knowledge and experience of: Children''s Act, OFSTED regulations, Staff management, compliance and safeguarding in line with children and young people.The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen and know how to engage in the referral process, liaising with all parties involved. Young people supported in this home may have been through past trauma and need support with elements of their lives such as mental health and challenging behavior. Having an empathetic and compassionate nature are key attributes for this position.Your role as Manager will be to lead from the front, setting excellent examples for staff and young people alike. You will be provided with the opportunity to help recruit the team around you. There is an excellent opportunity for you to model this service around your own personality and practice methods.Must have at least 3 years of experience working with young people in Residential Care and at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in Children homes.Responsibilities

Candidate must have previous experience in a role requiring supervision and management of care staff.Be able to demonstrate auditing, managing budgets and monitoring skills.Can evidence knowledge of Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting.Can demonstrate how to develop a staff team to ensure they have clear vision and goals.Has a good working knowledge of Children’s homes regulations and the Social care common inspection framework.Has strong values and beliefs.Has integrity and good character.Can evidence experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams.Can evidence knowledge of working within a clear therapeutic framework and the importance of multi-disciplinary working.Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.Qualifications and Experience

Experience: Residential Management: 1 year (preferred).Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred).Work authorisation: United Kingdom (preferred).Benefits and Compensation
