Job Title: Registered Manager - Children''s Home Location: St Helens Salary: £55,600 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed children''s home in St Helens. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the home and ensuring high-quality, child-centred care for children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs. You will provide strong leadership, maintain regulatory compliance, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the children''s home and ensure high standards of care. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, the Children''s Act, and relevant legislation. Lead, support, train, and supervise a team of residential care workers. Develop and manage individual care plans tailored to each child''s needs. Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for all children. Conduct quality audits, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with external professionals, families, and local authorities. Manage budgets, staff rotas, resources, and operational planning. Essential Requirements: Registered Manager status with Ofsted Minimum 3 years'' experience in a management or senior role within children''s residential care.
