Registered Manager - Children''s home

Registered Manager Children s Home We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager to lead our children s home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, the Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards. You will deliver high-quality care and support, promoting safety, welfare and development for children and young people. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day management of the home, ensuring statutory compliance and strong operational performance. Develop and motivate a skilled team to maintain excellent care standards; oversee budgets, resources and staffing rotas. Embed safeguarding and a children-centred culture; ensure care plans, risk assessments and behaviour strategies are effective. Maintain high standards in line with inspection frameworks; conduct audits, supervision and training; report to regulatory bodies and stakeholders. Ensure each child has an individualised plan promoting education, health, independence and emotional well-being; build positive relationships with children, families and professional networks. Person Specification Essential Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete) Significant residential care experience, including supervisory/management responsibilities Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, Ofsted regulations and the Children s Homes Regulations 2015 Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills ..... full job details .....
