About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our new 2-bed Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home. This is the company''s ninth home and provides a fantastic opportunity to help shape and grow a high-quality service.
The home is a spacious 4-bedroom property, registered for two children, making it an ideal setting for solo placements. You will have the autonomy to create a nurturing, safe, and stable environment where children and young people can thrive.
This role offers flexibility, with 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home each week. For candidates seeking a better work-life balance, there is also the option of a reduced salary with a 4-day working week.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and management of the children''s home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
Recruit, lead, and develop a motivated staff team, fostering a supportive and resilient workplace culture.
Manage budgets, resources, and placement planning effectively.
Build strong relationships with local authorities, professionals, and families to promote collaborative care planning.
Lead the home through Ofsted inspections, striving for "Good" or "Outstanding" outcomes.
Contribute to the wider organisation''s growth, sharing best practice across all services.
About You
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an EBD/children''s residential setting.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children''s home legislation.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
Ability to balance operational demands with a child-centred approach.
Flexible and resilient, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people.
Benefits
Competitive salary -48,000 - -55,000 (Registered Manager) or -60,000 - -70,000 (Dual Registration).
