The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a solo provision in Walsall. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintaining high standards of care and support.

  • Ensure the service fully complies with Ofsted standards and other relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Recruit, train, and support staff to maintain a high-performing team culture.
  • Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures in line with best practice.
  • Build positive relationships with professionals, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead with a commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance and contribute to achieving “Good” and “Outstanding” inspection outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Deputy Manager or Managerial role within a care or supported living setting.
  • Sound understanding of Ofsted regulations and care standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering person-centred, high-quality care.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including participation in on-call duties when required.

Who Should Apply

This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career, or for an established Registered Manager seeking a new and rewarding challenge.
