Registered Manager - Children's Home (Special Needs)

Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a Registered CQC Manager to set up and manage a brand new Children’s Home, working with children with special needs.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

• Complete set up of the operations
• Create a nurturing environment for children & develop care plans for children
• Lead and manage a team of care staff
• Manage budgets and administrative functions
• Monitor the quality and care 
• Prepare the service for Ofsted registration

Requirements:

• Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care & Young People’s Services & CQC Registered
• Knowledge of Ofsted Regulations & Children’s Home regulations
• Previous experience with children with Autism & Complex needs
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and positive behaviour support
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• High level of compassion and empathy & a  passion for working with children
• Full UK driving license preferred
• Full DBS checks
