Registered Manager - Children with Complex Behaviour Needs (SEMH)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager for one of our clients. To lead a team in supporting children and young people with complex behavioural and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a key leadership role within a residential setting, requiring a strong commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for young people.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day management of a residential team and ensure high standards of care.Lead and support staff in delivering person-centred care plans for children with SEMH needs.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Ofsted and CQC requirements.Promote a therapeutic and nurturing environment that supports emotional development and resilience.Work closely with families, social workers, and external agencies to support care pathways.Manage budgets, staffing, and operational responsibilities.Requirements:QCF Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or a related field.Minimum of 4 years'' experience in residential childcare, preferably in a leadership or management role.Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including SEMH.Valid driving licence for travel between sites and community engagement.Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Commitment to continuous professional development and safeguarding best practice.What to expect:A supportive and collaborative team environment.Ongoing ..... full job details .....
