We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager for our children's residential care home located in Kirkby in Ashfield. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home and ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our young residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily management of the residential care home, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with regulatory requirementsLead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the best possible care is provided to the childrenDevelop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodiesEnsure the home is compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations, including Ofsted requirementsManage the budget and resources of the home, ensuring efficient and effective use of fundsConduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of care and safety within the homeDevelop and implement care plans and risk assessments for each resident, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are metProvide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and progress of the homePromote a positive and inclusive environment for the children, encouraging their personal and social developmentHandle any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner, following the appropriate proceduresRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role within a children's residential care homeNVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People or equivalent qualificationSound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including Children's Homes Regulations and Quality StandardsStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholdersProven experience in managing budgets and resources effectivelyAbility to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs and prioritiesEnhanced DBS check and satisfactory referencesBenefits:
