What you''ll be doing:Lead and develop a warm, nurturing, and safe home environment where children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.Ensure all aspects of care meet the highest standards, with effective implementation of each child''s individual Placement Plan.Work collaboratively with health, education, and therapeutic professionals to support children''s development and wellbeing.Maintain full compliance with Children''s Homes Regulations and Ofsted SCCIF, ensuring the home operates to the highest regulatory and professional standards.Inspire, support, and develop your team through regular supervision, training, and performance management.Oversee day-to-day operations, including safeguarding, health and safety, and accurate record-keeping.Promote a positive culture centred on openness, inclusivity, diversity, and anti-discriminatory practice.Manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing rotas while ensuring the home remains a safe, clean, and homely environment.
