Registered Manager
The Registered Manager leads, manages, and develops a children''s residential home to ensure:Care is safe, nurturing, trauma-informed.The home is fully compliant with legislation and regulatory frameworks.A therapeutic and relational environment exists for children to feel safe, understood, and supported.Staff operate with values-led practice, meeting or exceeding Ofsted standards.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperational ManagementDay-to-day running of the home, ensuring legislative, contractual, health, and educational compliance.Monitoring children''s needs, particularly those with complex needs.Managing budgets and resources effectively.Maintaining house paperwork accurately.Staff Leadership and DevelopmentCoaching, supervising, and supporting staff to ensure high-quality care.Leading recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff.Embedding ethical standards, equality, diversity, and health and safety practices.Child Care and SupportSafeguarding children and promoting wellbeing.Managing complex behaviors, crisis intervention, and structured routines.Providing holistic care: physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, and social needs.Building trust and relationships to guide positive responses.Collaboration and External LiaisonWorking with external agencies to develop and implement care plans.Liaising with colleagues on on-call duties and supporting wider operational needs.Compliance and Continuous ImprovementInterpreting and implementing changes in ..... full job details .....
