Registered Manager - Adult Care Home

Halton Borough Council is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an adult care home, working alongside the Principal Manager to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, safe and person-centred service.You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, including leading and motivating staff, managing resources and ensuring the home operates in full compliance with CQC standards, legislation and relevant regulations.You will also contribute to the wider development of prevention, health and social care services across Halton, supporting directorate objectives and continuous service improvement.Key responsibilities include:Lead and support a team of staff, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred service.Support the development and annual review of the Statement of Purpose and Service User Guide.Ensure staffing levels and deployment meet the needs of service users.Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment and staff development, including induction, training, supervision and appraisal.Promote robust safeguarding practices, risk assessments and health and safety compliance.Ensure the service remains up to date with relevant legislation, policies, CQC requirements and best practice.Manage and resolve complaints in line with Council procedures.Monitor budgets, support performance reporting and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Build and maintain positive relationships with CQC, regulators and external ..... full job details .....
