The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of a specialist children’s home that forms part of our wider CSE services. • Lead on safeguarding, care planning, and risk management to protect young people from further harm.
  • Work closely with social workers, clinical teams, local authorities, and other external agencies.
  • Ensure therapeutic approaches are embedded in daily practice and staff are trauma-informed.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and regulatory compliance across the service.
  • Prepare the home for Ofsted inspections, audits, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Promote young people’s rights, voice, and participation in their care and recovery.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting.
  • In-depth understanding of CSE, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding best practices.
  • Experience working with high-risk young people and complex behavioural needs.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in high-pressure and emotionally challenging environments.
  • Thorough understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted inspection frameworks.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and full right to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Therapeutic training or qualifications (e.g., PACE, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy).
  • Experience supporting homes through Ofsted inspections with a “Good” or “Outstanding” rating.
  • First aid, medication, and health & safety training.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £60,000 per annum

  • Ongoing CPD, training, and qualifications
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme and health & wellbeing support
