Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for transforming young lives? We are looking for an experienced Children’s Home Manager to lead our 4-bed home in Darwen, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of the home, build and inspire a strong team, and ensure the very best outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong, supportive leadership to staff and young people
• Ensure the home meets Ofsted standards and achieves excellence in care
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive
• Take the lead on safeguarding and care planning responsibilities
• Build positive relationships with families, external professionals, and the community
• Inspire and motivate your team to deliver exceptional standards of care

About You

• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it)
• Experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks
• Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills
• Resilience, passion, and a genuine commitment to improving children’s lives
