Are you a passionate leader with the drive to make a lasting difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking an experienced Children’s Home Manager to take the helm of our 1-bed home in Prestwich, providing high-quality care and support for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a rare opportunity to lead a small, specialist service where you’ll have the autonomy to shape the home, inspire your team, and create the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding care
- Ensure the home not only meets but exceeds Ofsted requirements
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children to flourish
- Take responsibility for safeguarding and individual care planning
- Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the wider community
- Develop a positive culture where your team feel valued and inspired
About You
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Proven experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a people-focused approach
- Resilient, motivated, and committed to improving children’s lives
