Are you an experienced Registered Branch Manager with a background in adult or paediatric complex care, looking for the autonomy to strengthen an established service and lead its next phase of growth?

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Branch Manager to lead a complex care service based in Newtown, Powys. This is an excellent opportunity for an operationally strong manager who understands community complex care, can build trusted relationships with clients and families, and knows how to lead a high-performing team.

Previous management experience within adult or paediatric community complex care is essential.

The service is already delivering a significant volume of care and is commercially performing well. The priority for the incoming manager will be to strengthen operational delivery, develop client relationships, support the existing team and help drive the next phase of growth.

The Role
As Registered Branch Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of the service, ensuring clients receive safe, responsive and high-quality complex care.

You will lead an established operational team, develop strong relationships with clients and families, oversee service performance and ensure the branch continues to meet quality, commercial and regulatory expectations.

You will also play a key part in identifying opportunities for sustainable growth while maintaining high standards across existing care packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the complex care branch
• Manage and develop Client Managers, Care Coordinators and administrative support
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, families and external professionals
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
• Drive improvements in client experience and service quality
• Monitor care hours, staffing and service performance
• Support the mobilisation and development of new care packages
• Maintain strong governance and regulatory standards
• Work closely with clinical and senior operational colleagues
• Identify opportunities to grow adult and paediatric complex care services
  
  

About You
To be considered for this Registered Branch Manager position, you must have previous management experience within community complex care, supporting either adults, children or both.

You will ideally have:

• Previous branch, operations or service management experience
• Strong knowledge of community-based complex care
• Previous experience supporting adult and/or paediatric complex care packages
• Experience managing operational teams
• Excellent client and family relationship-management skills
• A strong understanding of quality, compliance and safeguarding
• Commercial awareness and experience monitoring service performance
• The ability to manage challenging situations and implement service improvements
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style
• The confidence to work autonomously and take ownership of a service
