Regional Surveyor

Contract type : Fixed Term Contract - 12 months The Role: We are seeking a Regional Surveyor to oversee the condition, maintenance and long-term suitability of a diverse residential property portfolio across the South of England and Wales. This is a home-based role with extensive travel, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to residents by ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. You will play a key role within the Property Services team, managing maintenance and repair works, undertaking stock condition surveys, supporting planned investment programmes, and providing professional property advice. The role also involves building strong relationships with residents to understand their ongoing housing needs and ensure properties continue to meet their requirements. Key Responsibilities: Property and Asset Management Undertake stock condition surveys and assess property suitability, component lifespan and future investment requirements. Support the development of annual planned maintenance and investment programmes. Specify and oversee improvement, maintenance and repair works. Liaise on retrofit and energy-efficiency improvement programmes. Project and Contract Management Act as client representative for property works and insurance-related projects. Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are delivered to the required quality standard. Manage snagging, defects and sign-off processes.
