(OTE GBP50K)Fully Expensed Company Vehicle (with optional private use if required)All Tools SuppliedPension SchemeDiscretionary Bonus Scheme26 days annual holiday + bank holidays (increases with service)Simplyhealth Cash Plan (including retail discount scheme)Critical Illness CoverEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Staff discount on company productsThe ClientOur client are a leading hire company providing full UK coverage for industrial equipment.With plans to expand the business further this has presented an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer covering the South East to join their team.The role of Field Service Engineer:Service, repair, and maintain a range of industrial cleaning equipment (mechanical and electrical).Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.Provide excellent on-site customer service, acting as the face of the business.Maintain accurate service records and documentation.Manage van stock and ensure all tools/equipment are in good condition.Qualifications, experience and characteristics of the Field Service EngineerMechanical and Electrical skills proven fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair (not just mechanical)Field service/mobile engineer background comfortable working on customer sitesExperience with machinery or equipment ideally cleaning equipment, plant, materials handling, FLT or similarFull UK driving licenceConfident and professional in customer-facing situationsStrong documentation and record keeping skillsBowdon Associates is a member of the Guild of Quality Employment Agencies and has agreed to adopt the compliance and recruitment standards that form the basis their code of conduct.
