The role provides a support function to the unit s Security and Compliance team. Completing, collating and recording of compliance audits for the Southwest region, and acting as a central point of contact for regional colleagues and stakeholders assisting them directly or escalating their queries as required. The post holder will interrogate and maintain databases, information sources and systems ensuring compliance with all current legislations and policies. Experience of working with and researching data from various sources, working within parameters set by a range of legislation and the ability to become a subject matter expert is essential for this role. There will be a requirement to travel across the south west region to undertake audits at the various regional estates. The role advertised is located at a building that can be reached by public transport or car in under 45 minutes from central Bristol or Taunton Appointments to this posts are subject to security clearance to Police Management and National Security vetting Security Clearance Level (SC).
