Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Area Sales Manager to develop and grow business across the Midlands.The RoleThis is a true hunter role where you''ll be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities with food and FMCG manufacturers. You''ll manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and site surveys through to proposal, negotiation and closing orders. Capital equipment sales typically involve consultative, solution-led selling and longer sales cycles.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and win new business across the MidlandsDevelop relationships with food and FMCG manufacturers.Identify packaging challenges and recommend tailored machinery solutions.Conduct customer meetings, demonstrations and site visits.Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.Negotiate contracts through to order.Maintain an active pipeline and achieve sales targets.Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.RequirementsEssential: Previous ..... full job details .....
