Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 per week

Overview


We''re working with a specialist education provider to appoint an experienced SEND leader to oversee three schools across Surrey.
These settings operate across multiple sites (Redhill, Smallfield, Caterham and Effingham) and offer a highly integrated approach to education, care and therapy for children and young people with complex needs.
This is a senior leadership role with real scope to shape provision and drive standards across all sites.



The Role


As Regional Principal, you''ll have overall responsibility for performance, quality, financial stability and future growth across the schools.
You''ll lead established senior teams, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality education and care, while maintaining a strong focus on outcomes for pupils.
This role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, so you''ll need to be comfortable managing people, performance and budgets.



Key Responsibilities

  • Set clear direction across all sites, ensuring a consistent vision and high standards
  • Lead school improvement and maintain strong inspection outcomes
  • Support and challenge senior leaders to drive performance
  • Oversee curriculum delivery, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and compliance
  • Manage budgets effectively, balancing quality with sustainability
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to wider organisational growth and development


About You

  • QTS and NPQH (or equivalent)
  • Strong SEND background, particularly with complex needs
  • Experience leading senior teams within education
  • Confident managing change and driving improvement
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets
  • Strong communicator, able to build relationships at all levels


Multi-site leadership experience would be beneficial but isn''t essential.
