Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we''re looking for an experienced Regional Maintenance Support Operative to provide essential maintenance cover across our care homes nationwide while helping to maintain safe, welcoming environments for residents and teams. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a mobile role supporting care homes across the central region when local maintenance cover is unavailable. You''ll work independently across a range of sites, carrying out maintenance tasks, compliance checks, and minor repairs while ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained. When maintenance cover is not required, you''ll support property improvement projects, helping to deliver upgrades and enhancements across our portfolio of care homes. Key responsibilities include: Providing maintenance support across multiple care homes as required. Completing routine safety and compliance inspections, including checks on fire safety, water systems, emergency lighting, equipment, and other essential services. Carrying out general repairs and maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and building work. Training and supporting new maintenance colleagues in statutory checks and maintenance procedures. Communicating with Estates Managers regarding completed works, compliance requirements, and site updates. ..... full job details .....
