Catch 22 are working with a large independent property management organisation, who are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a commercial properties across Newcastle and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to join a leading property management team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of both hard and soft facilities management services.Manage contracts, budgets, and procurement processes to ensure effective service delivery.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.Conduct regular property inspections and safety tours.Liaise with occupiers, staff, and service providers to maintain smooth building operations. Ideal Candidate: Minimum of 5 years'' experience in Facilities Management, with a strong understanding of managing agent responsibilities. (Preferred)Knowledge of landlord-tenant relationships within commercial property.Proven experience in health and safety management, including awareness of fire risk, asbestos, and water hygiene.Strong contract management skills and experience leading a team.IOSH Managing Safely certification or NEBOSH General Certificate (Essential).Membership of BIFM/IWFM (Preferred).
