Regional Design Manager

Weandrsquo;re seeking a Regional Design Team Manager to lead our internal design resources and ensure high-quality outputs, primarily on water based infrastructure and projects.andnbsp;

Youandrsquo;ll manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical governance, and drive continuous improvement in design delivery. From pre-contract mobilisation to project completion, youandrsquo;ll ensure designs meet client expectations, regulatory standards, and programme requirements. This role combines leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic inputandmdash;making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical detail with big-picture thinking.

Please note that this role is aandnbsp;hybridandnbsp;role where you will be expected to attend theandnbsp;office 2-3 times a week. Theandnbsp;contractualandnbsp;officeandnbsp;baseandnbsp;isandnbsp;flexibleandnbsp;and can be atandnbsp;Ilkeston. This can be discussed further at interview.

  Proven experience inandnbsp;design leadershipandnbsp;within water or wastewater sectors (ESSENTIAL)

  Knowledge ofandnbsp;CDM regulations, technical governance, and compliance.

• 
  

  Familiarity withandnbsp;design programme planning, cost control, and value engineering.

• 
  

  Degree in Engineering or Design Management;andnbsp;Chartered Engineer statusandnbsp;(or working towards).

• 
  

  Experience withandnbsp;BIM and digital design tools; project management certification desirable.
