Due to strategic growth plans, they are seeking a high-calibre Regional Head of Business Development to lead their work-winning activity across the Wales and West region.

Core Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain a dependable two-year outlook for prospective contracts across asset management, refurbishment, statutory compliance, and decarbonisation initiatives.
• Actively identify, negotiate, and secure major commercial wins and framework positions through hands-on business development rather than standard team oversight.
• Strictly evaluate incoming tenders to filter out low-margin or unsuitable opportunities, ensuring commercial resources are dedicated solely to profitable work.
• Oversee the forward pipeline and order ledger to provide the Regional Managing Director with precise, evidence-based monthly revenue forecasts.
• Establish early engagement channels with local councils, housing providers, and industry consultants up to 18 months ahead of tender releases.

What You Need (Requirements)

• Senior business development leadership in social housing, property services, or public sector contracting.
• A history of winning high-value frameworks and delivering measurable revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of public procurement routes, framework bidding, and strict pipeline governance.
• The ability to blend long-term strategic planning with hands-on, active deal-closing.
