Regeneration Project Assistant

Job Title: Regeneration Project Assistant Salary: £15.31 per hour Location: Mossley Mill, Antrim and Newtownabbey. May be required to work at any Council location. Hours: 37 hours per week Deadline: Monday 10 th August Job Description: The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a wide range of economic development programmes which contribute to the development of the local economy and our towns and villages, in line with the Council''s Corporate and Economic Development objectives, regional strategies and sub-regional approaches. This role is to support the Economic Development Section''s Regeneration Officers and Regeneration Project Officers. This role will involve supporting the delivery of a range of grant based programmes to support regeneration, place shaping and Town Centre development. The post holder will assist the Regeneration Team with the implementation of the Council''s Masterplan for our town centre and economic nodes. As part of the business engagement responsibility the role will support the delivery of business engagement meetings and events across the Borough. Responsibilities: To support the Regeneration Team in the delivery of a range of economic development and town centre engagement programmes. To assist in the preparation, administration, vouching and monitoring of a range of economic development projects.
