Refuse Loader

The Best Connection are recruiting Refuse Loaders to join our client''s growing waste and recycling team based in Burntwood.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established local employer. You''ll be working as part of a team collecting household refuse, recycling and organic waste across the local area.

This is a physically demanding outdoor role that involves manoeuvring wheeled bins and recycling bags, as well as walking approximately 10 to 15 miles per day.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates should be comfortable with manual handling and working in all weather conditions.

The position operates on a daily book-back basis, with shifts available between 2 and 5 days per week depending on business requirements.

Induction - 24th August

Successful candidates must attend a 3-day paid induction programme:

* Day 1 - Classroom-based Health & Safety Training

* Day 2 & 3 - Practical on-the-job training alongside experienced team members.

Due to the early start time, candidates will ideally have their own transport to travel to and from the depot.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 05:45 - 16:30

Pay Rate:

-13.26 per hour

Physical Requirements:

* Able to walk up to 10-15 miles per shift

* Comfortable carrying out repetitive manual handling tasks

* Capable of pushing, pulling and manoeuvring heavy wheeled bins

* Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Good level of physical fitness and stamina required

* Ability to work at a fast-paced, active environment throughout the day
