Job Title: Refuse Loader Location: Bedford Pay Rate: 13.26 Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am start, job and finish (ongoing agency work) Are you looking for reliable work, early starts and a role that keeps you active? We are recruiting on behalf of the local council''s waste management department for Refuse Loaders to join their hardworking team in Bedford. As a Refuse Loader, you will be a key part of the crew, helping to keep the community clean and safe. This is a physical role where no 2 days are the same and you will be working outdoors in all weather conditions. What you''ll be doing Collecting household waste and recycling across Bedford Working as part of a close knit team of refuse loaders and drivers Handling bins, bags and containers safely and efficiently Supporting the smooth running of daily waste management operations What we''re looking for Good physical health and fitness, as this is a physically demanding role Team players with a positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors Why this role might suit you Regular weekday work, with early finishes once the round is complete Ongoing agency work with potential for longer term opportunities This role could suit candidates who have previously worked as a Refuse Loader, Bin Loader, Waste Operative, Recycling Operative, Environmental Operative, Street Cleansing Operative, Waste Collection Operative, Recycling Loader, General Labourer or Collections Operative.
