IMH Recruitment are currently seeking reliable Waste Collection Operatives to work for our client in Barnsley. You will be working as part of a team delivering household waste collection services across the borough, ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Duties: Assisting with daily household waste collections Operating mechanical bin lifting equipment Working outdoors in all weather conditions Carrying out physically demanding tasks safely Supporting the driver and supervisor to meet daily schedules Being polite and customer-focused when dealing with members of the public Following Health and Safety procedures at all times Using basic ICT systems to complete electronic records where required Essential Requirements: Experience working individually or as part of a team Experience in waste management or a similar operational environment Good understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace Good communication skills and a positive attitude to work Ability to follow verbal, written, and electronic instructions Additional Information: This is a safety-critical role and is subject to Drug and Alcohol Testing Willingness to undertake training and work flexibly as required Must be reliable and committed to delivering a quality service Desirable (but not essential): Manual Handling training Needle Stick training IOSH Working Safely Full UK driving licence (Category B+E) Hours: Normally Tuesday to Friday 6am - 15:45pm 13.26 per ..... full job details .....
