Job Title: Refuse Loader Location: DorchesterContract Type: Temporary Pay Rate: 13.05Please Note Monday- FridayShift range: 06:00- 14:00Hours are allocated weekly and may vary depending on operational requirements.Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Refuse Loader to join our team. In this role, you will support the efficient collection and handling of waste materials, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely. This position is physically demanding and requires a strong commitment to teamwork and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect and load refuse, recycling, and green waste onto collection vehiclesAssist the driver with safe and efficient route completionHandle bins, sacks, and containers in a safe and timely mannerEnsure all waste is collected in accordance with company and environmental regulationsMaintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areasReport any issues such as damaged bins, missed collections, or safety concernsFollow all health and safety procedures at all timesSkills and RequirementsNo previous experience requiredGood level of physical fitness (role involves lifting, walking, and working outdoors in all weather conditions)Ability to work early morningsEffective communication and teamwork skillsA proactive and reliable approach to work Connect2Dorset is a trading style of Dorset and Kent Commercial Services LLP - A joint venture between Dorset Council and Commercial Services Kent Ltd.
