The post holder will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality environmental services while maintaining excellent customer service and complying with all health and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Drive refuse collection vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation, Driver CPC requirements, and Council/company policies (where appropriately licensed). Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects promptly. Collect household, commercial and recycling waste in accordance with designated collection rounds. Load waste and recycling materials safely and efficiently onto collection vehicles. Return bins and containers to the correct location after emptying. Identify and report contaminated recycling or missed collections following service procedures. Operate lifting mechanisms and associated equipment safely.
