Domestic Abuse and Safe Accommodation Practitioner Leicester City Centre Full and Part time roles available Temp Perm positions Are you an experienced Support Worker, Housing Officer, Domestic Abuse Practitioner or Refuge Worker looking for a role where you can make a real difference?We are working with a well-established charity in Leicester to recruit a Domestic Abuse and Safe Accommodation Practitioner to support women, and children living in safe, dispersed accommodation.This is a hands-on role where you''ll provide practical and emotional support, help clients manage their accommodation and work with them to move on to suitable longer-term housing.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for supporting clients throughout their time in safe accommodation, making regular visits and helping them with both their immediate and longer-term needs.You''ll work closely with clients, colleagues and external agencies, so being able to build good relationships and communicate confidently with a range of people is really important.Your responsibilities will include: Providing practical, emotional and personal support to clients affected by domestic abuse.Carrying out regular visits to dispersed accommodation and providing one-to-one support.Completing support plans, risk assessments and safety planning, and reviewing these regularly.Supporting clients with housing, benefits, health, education and other welfare needs.Helping clients access appropriate services and working with other ..... full job details .....
