We''re recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled refrigeration engineer to work on a variety of transport refrigeration systems, with ongoing training, development and excellent long-term career opportunities. Experienced HGV and LCV Technicians with a strong mechanical or electrical background may also be considered, with full training and support available to develop into a specialist Refrigeration Engineer. The Role You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of transport refrigeration systems fitted to HGVs, trailers and light commercial vehicles. Duties will include: Servicing and repairing transport refrigeration units across various makes and models Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, electronic and refrigeration faults Installing refrigeration units to trailers, HGVs and LCVs Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections Working independently at customer sites and away from the workshop Participating in a 1-in-5 on-call rota for out-of-hours breakdowns Carrying out first-time fixes wherever possible Managing van ..... full job details .....
