Refrigeration Engineer

We are working with a long-established and highly respected refrigeration and building services contractor that employs over 70 people across the business. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Refrigeration Engineer to join their experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business with exceptional staff retention, where some engineers have spent decades with the company. The role is predominantly refrigeration-focused, with some air conditioning work, covering a diverse customer base including restaurants, food production facilities, retail outlets, dental practices and commercial premises throughout Greater London. Key Responsibilities as Refrigeration Engineer Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems. Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities. Install and commission refrigeration equipment when required. Repair and maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators and control systems. Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately. Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4). Support junior engineers and apprentices where required.
