Refrigeration Engineer /Commercial F-Gas Engineer

My client is a growing engineering business supporting customers across the hospitality sector throughout Kent.

They are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer / Commercial F-Gas Engineer to join their team, working on a range of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment.

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and installation of commercial refrigeration equipment at customer sites, including:

• Fridges and freezers
• Blast chillers
• Walk-in chillers and freezers
• Commercial catering refrigeration equipment

You will be working on the road, attending customer sites and carrying out planned and reactive engineering work.

• F-Gas certified
• Commercial refrigeration / HVAC-R experience
• Experience working on fridges, freezers, blast chillers and walk-in refrigeration
• Relevant electrical knowledge/qualifications, such as 18th Edition, HNC, NVQ or City & Guilds
• Full UK driving licence
• A professional approach when dealing with customers

Full training will be provided on additional equipment and systems relevant to the wider business.

• -45,000 - -48,000 per year
• Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm
• Company van with private use
• Fuel card

• 1 in 5 on-call rota
• On-call retainer plus additional payment for attended out-of-hours call-outs
• Overnight payment where an overnight stay is required

The salary covers the normal hours required to complete the role. Workloads are managed accordingly, with some days finishing earlier and others later depending on the work required.
