Refrigeration Engineer Supermarket Refrigeration CO Location: SouthamptonSalary: Up to £50,000 Basic + Overtime + Standby PaymentsOn-Call: 1 in 4Holiday: 33 Days (Including Bank Holidays)Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Uniform and Specialist Tools Provided About the Opportunity A growing refrigeration team is looking to appoint an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to work across major supermarket and retail accounts throughout Southampton. If you''re currently working within commercial refrigeration and are interested in developing your career within the supermarket sector, this could be a great next step. The position will give you the opportunity to work with modern CO refrigeration systems, while hydrocarbon refrigerant training will be provided to the right candidate to further expand their technical skillset. Your Day-to-Day Role You will be responsible for maintaining reliable refrigeration systems across supermarket environments, with duties including: Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems. Investigating faults and responding to refrigeration breakdowns. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Working on CO refrigeration equipment across supermarket sites. Taking part in the 1-in-4 on-call rota. Completing service reports following site visits. Maintaining consistently high levels of customer service and technical standards.
