Refrigeration Engineer Location: Watford Area Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £51,996 per annum (inclusive of standby payment) Benefits: Overtime (£60,000 OTE) Paid travel time 33 days annual leave Private pension Benefits package including private healthcare, life insurance, and employee discounts Job Purpose This is a key engineering role responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across multiple customer sites. You will act as the first point of response for service and maintenance activities within your allocated locations, ensuring refrigeration and associated systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of refrigeration equipment at customer locations. Effectively service, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and provide assistance with HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits. Prioritise maintenance and repair tasks to meet agreed response times and service level agreements. Identify non-repairable faults and promptly report findings to the Line Manager, including recommendations for suitable replacement solutions. Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are completed within agreed timescales.
