In care, education, hospitality, retail and public buildings, a plant room or cold room that is down puts people, stock and service at risk. You will be the engineer clients trust to diagnose, repair and keep commercial refrigeration and cooling plant safe, reliable and compliant. This role matters because responsiveness and technical judgement, not a ticket number, decide whether a site stays open. Performance Objectives Restore commercial refrigeration, cold rooms and associated cooling plant to safe operation on the first visit wherever parts and access allow, and leave a clear residual-risk note when they do not. Complete planned maintenance to the contract standard, catching leaks, control faults and declining performance before they become emergency callouts. Diagnose root cause, not symptoms, and advise site teams when repair is no longer the right call versus replacement or upgrade. Supply accurate equipment, parts and labour data so quotations are right first time and work can be authorised without delay.
