A specialist HVAC, refrigeration and solar PV contractor who offer installation and maintenance services is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, commissioning, and occasional installation of a wide range of chiller and refrigeration systems in commercial environments including retail, defence and industrial buildings across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

As the Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform system testing, verification, and performance analysis.
• Fault-finding, troubleshooting, and system optimisation.
• Complete commissioning documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and F-Gas regulations.

Successful applicants will have the following experience and qualification:

• Proven experience in commissioning refrigeration systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial/commercial refrigeration systems.
• NVQ Level 3 (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning).
• Experience with refrigerants such as NH3, CO2, and HFC/HFO.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Electrical qualifications (desirable).
• Liaising with clients and providing excellent customer service.
• Full UK driving licence.
