Refrigeration & Catering Engineer

OverviewThe Peninsula London is seeking to hire Refrigeration and Catering Engineers who will take pride in ensuring the good maintenance and repair of all cold rooms, refrigeration and catering equipment throughout the hotel and residences, complying with all building regulations and mandatory inspections.

Responsibilities
Ensure engineering maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner to a good standard in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance programme and operation schedule, including House Rules and Regulation, Health and Safety, Emergency Response and Standard Operating Procedures.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on cold rooms, refrigeration and catering equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and perform reliably and efficiently.
Carry out inspection and testing of refrigeration and catering equipment to ensure they are operating in compliance with relevant industry guidelines and regulations.
Cooperates and coordinates with all engineers and external contractors whenever necessary and interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
General Qualifications
Minimum 3 years in a similar role within a similar environment.
Trade certified or NVQ level in Refrigeration and Catering.
Basic knowledge of building services such as HVAC systems and Plumbing and Drainage and relevant rules and regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively. Good problem-solving skills, organized and detail oriented.
Fluent English communication proficiency.
