Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Recycling Operative (Shredder & Baler) to join their busy operation in Congleton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a well-established and growing business. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, recycling, or machine operation who are looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities of this Recycling Operative role:

• Operating industrial shredding and baling machinery.
• Processing cardboard, plastic, packaging, and other recyclable materials.
• Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults or maintenance issues.
• Producing, storing, and handling finished bales.
• Completing routine equipment checks and relevant documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Supporting general warehouse and production activities as required.
• Following company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.

For this Recycling Operative role,, you will need:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, recycling, or industrial environment is desirable.
• Experience operating machinery would be advantageous.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.

£26,500 During Training | £30,944 After Training (Including Shift Allowance)
Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts

• 07:00am – 3:30pm
• 10:30am – 7:00pm
