Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Recycling Operatives to join our client within a recycling facility in Perth. This role involves handling and preparing electrical equipment for further disposal in a safe and efficient manner. The position offers both day and night shifts, with flexibility required for weekend working. Transport will also be available from specific pick up points.

Various shift patterns available (below)

- Dayshift Pattern - Monday to Friday - 7am - 6pm

- Nightshift pattern - Sunday to Thursday - 6pm - 7am

- 4 on/4 off pattern (weekend work)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting and processing electrical equipment for recycling and disposal
  • Preparing items in line with company and environmental regulations
  • Machine operations (training will be provided)
  • Carrying out quality control checks
  • Dismantling and processing electronic equipment
  • Safely handling a variety of electrical goods and materials
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Supporting team members and supervisors with general site duties


Requirements:

  • Ability to work 48 hours per week, including weekends when required
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to recycling
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
