Recycling Operative

The Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join a Recycling area for our client based in Loughborough on a temp to perm basis. The Recycling Operative role is a hands-on and physically demanding role involving the sorting, weighing, recording and processing of recyclable materials. You will be responsible for ensuring materials are correctly identified, documented and placed into the appropriate recycling areas. As part of the Recycling Operative role, you will also be fully trained to operate a range of specialist recycling equipment. Location:- Loughborough Department:- Recycling Area Hours:- Full Time Days - Monday to Friday Pay:- £12.71 to £12.85 Key Responsibilities of the Recycling Operative:- Carry out day-to-day recycling operations within the Recycling AreaIdentify and sort different types of recyclable materialsWeigh materials accurately and record the relevant informationEnsure materials are documented correctly in line with company proceduresPlace materials into the correct designated recycling areas according to their material typeMove and handle materials throughout the recycling processCarry out regular heavy lifting and manual handlingReceive full training to operate a range of equipment, including: GranulatorShredder3D print filament machineWire stripperBaling equipment Ensure equipment is used safely and correctlyKeep the Recycling Area clean, tidy and organisedFollow all company Health and Safety proceduresWork as part of a team to ..... full job details .....
