Recruitment Officer

Hays Human Resources are delighted to be supporting a highly respected, charitable organisation in Manchester to recruit a Recruitment Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Opportunity As Recruitment Officer, you will manage and coordinate the full recruitment life cycle, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently, compliantly and with a strong focus on service delivery. Working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues, you will provide expert recruitment support from vacancy approval through to onboarding and induction. This role would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities and delivering a first-class candidate experience. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity from vacancy advertising through to appointment. Review job descriptions and adverts to ensure compliance with legislation and recruitment best practice. Manage candidate and hiring manager queries throughout the recruitment process. Arrange and coordinate interviews, including preparing interview documentation and supporting interview panels. Conduct pre-employment checks including right-to-work verification, references and other onboarding requirements. Support the onboarding and induction process for new starters. Maintain accurate recruitment records and HR systems in line with GDPR requirements. Produce recruitment data, reports and statistics where required.
