Recruitment Business Partner Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear Contract Type: Temporary Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) Pay Rate: £23.37 per hour Start Date: 15 June 2026 End Date: 31 July 2026 About the role We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Business Partner to join Gateshead Council''s People Services team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will act as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers across the organisation, supporting the delivery of high-quality, end-to-end recruitment campaigns. You will play a key role in attracting and appointing talent across a range of services, ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with recruitment best practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys stakeholder engagement, advisory work, and delivering efficient and effective recruitment solutions in a fast-paced in-house environment. Key responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and design effective recruitment strategies Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including attraction, sourcing, selection, and onboarding Provide expert advice and guidance on recruitment best practice and fair selection processes Support and coach managers to ensure consistent and high-quality recruitment outcomes Use recruitment data and insight to improve processes and inform decision-making Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment approaches and candidate experience What we''re looking for Proven ..... full job details .....
