Recovery Worker

Right now, we are looking for a Recovery Worker to play a pivotal role in our new Mental Health Crisis Prevention and Outreach Service in Croydon. Sounds great, what will I be doing? As a Recovery Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred, and recovery-focused support to individuals experiencing mental distress, helping them improve their wellbeing, build resilience, and prevent the escalation of mental health difficulties. You will manage a caseload of service users, delivering assessments, risk management, safety planning, and short-term interventions tailored to individual needs. Working closely with health, social care, housing, and community partners, you will support people to access appropriate services and achieve their recovery goals. You will facilitate recovery-focused activities, maintain accurate and confidential records, participate in multidisciplinary working, and contribute to the effective delivery and continuous development of the service.
