Recovery Worker Location: Shropshire Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum About The Role Are you passionate about supporting people to make positive changes in their lives? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to deliver person-centred drug and alcohol support, helping individuals work towards recovery and achieve positive outcomes. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a key role in delivering psychosocial interventions and treatment programmes, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and partner agencies to provide effective, joined-up care. What we are looking for A compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approach to supporting individuals. A genuine interest in helping people affected by drug and alcohol use. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships. The ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and partner agencies. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the service and clients. A commitment to achieving service targets and delivering positive outcomes for individuals. A willingness to travel to other projects within the cluster, with reasonable notice, when required.
