Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective post-operative care to patients within the recovery environment. Monitor and assess patients following surgery, identifying and escalating changes in condition promptly. Manage airway support, patient observations and recovery interventions in line with clinical best practice. Assess and manage post-operative pain, nausea and overall patient comfort. Support patients through the recovery process and ensure readiness for discharge from the recovery area. Ensure all theatre, recovery and anaesthetic equipment is checked, prepared and maintained appropriately.
