We are working alongside a leading healthcare provider to recruit a dedicated Recovery Theatre Practitioner.This is an exciting opportunity to add real value to patients within an acute hospital setting working Ad hoc shifts opportunities across a 7-day week This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner to join a busy theatre team, providing outstanding post-operative care in a recovery setting. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective post-operative care to patients within the recovery environment. Monitor and assess patients following surgery, identifying and escalating changes in condition promptly. Manage airway support, patient observations and recovery interventions in line with clinical best practice. Assess and manage post-operative pain, nausea and overall patient comfort. Support patients through the recovery process and ensure readiness for discharge from the recovery area. Ensure all theatre, recovery and anaesthetic equipment is checked, prepared and maintained appropriately. Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety and clinical governance standards at all times. Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
