Recovery Coordinator

Your new role
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will play a key role within a team, supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol use throughout their recovery journey. You will work collaboratively with service users, healthcare professionals, partner agencies, and community organisations to provide person-centred support, helping individuals achieve sustainable recovery and improve their overall wellbeing.


This is a fixed-term contract opportunity, ideal for an individual looking to develop their experience within the substance misuse and recovery sector while making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

What you''ll need to succeed

• Strong understanding of drug and alcohol misuse and experience working within a related sector.
• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals within a person-centred framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals and professionals.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and produce reports within required timescales.
• Experience working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
• Enhanced DBS, on the update service.
• Oliver McGowan Training certificate.
