Recovery and Opportunities Coordinator

About the role: Recovery is about more than addressing immediate needs. It is also about having somewhere to belong, opportunities to build confidence and skills, meaningful connections with other people, and the chance to take part in the community around you. As our Recovery and Opportunities Co-ordinator, you''ll help make those opportunities a reality for people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage in our St John''s Mansions service. You''ll develop and coordinate our Recovery and Opportunities programme, creating activities and opportunities that reflect what clients actually want from their services and communities. You''ll work alongside clients, colleagues, volunteers and peer supporters to co-produce activities, build participation and make sure people are supported to get involved in ways that feel meaningful to them. You''ll also help equip others with the confidence, training and resources they need to deliver opportunities effectively. A big part of the role happens beyond our services. You''ll build strong relationships with community organisations, local residents, statutory and voluntary-sector partners and other opportunities across Islington, opening doors for clients to access volunteering, education, cultural activities and wider community life.
